Bob Berzins lives in Sheffield on the edge of the Peak District. His passion for protecting wildlife and the environment is illustrated by this talk he gave to the Green Party:
His first encounter with gamekeepers was above a well known peregrine nesting site. Since then he’s worked with activists and wildlife charities, spoken to police of all ranks and crime commissioners in an effort to improve the plight of wildlife in the National Park. He trained and worked as a counsellor which has helped him bring psychological depth to his writing.
He also serves on a committee that advises the National Park on access and recreation, particularly on the moors around Sheffield.
